The NSYMCA provides corporate discounts* on YNS membership for partner businesses, community organizations, fellow nonprofits and local municipalities. See below for a comprehensive list of current partnerships across our locations. We also honor some partnerships held by other Ys across the MA Alliance of YMCAs.
*Corporate discounts cannot be combined with Flexible pricing (scholarship) - advise members to choose whichever price is best for them.
Types
Regular Corporate Discounts
A price reduction is applied to the memberships of employees of our partner organizations, using a Discount Group. This price reduction does not apply to program, childcare or camp.
Employees pay monthly dues themselves.
Third Party Payer Memberships:
Some organizations pay for their employees’ memberships (or a portion of the membership).
Refer prospects to your Membership Sales Director or Central Team member.
Local Sales Director/Central Team Members submit a 3rd party billing form to Sara Marshall for processing and payment set-up.
Please enroll the prospect in a complimentary guest pass while they’re waiting for the membership to be set up!
How to Enroll a Corporate Membership
Verify that the prospect’s employer is a current partner of ours (see list below).
Enroll in their membership of choice, and select the discount group associated with the Partner Organization. This will reduce the initial payment, but will remain on the account as “pending” until verified by the Local Sales Director before the first monthly draft.
The Local Sales Director will then confirm the prospect’s employment via a current email address, business card, or by checking with the Partner’s contact person and approve the discount group for future charges.
